Bear: The state of Maine is famous for it's black bear hunting. At Harry's Lodge, we run our bear hunts from tree stands over bait. Because of an average of less than twenty yards from tree stand to bait, we are set-up especially well for all types of weapons, whether you use gun, bow or pistol.

In October we also have a special hunt for those hunters who wish to hunt on their own. We will sit down with you and go over areas that are known to have good bear populations. Most of this hunting is done around abandoned farms. Most of these farms have old, but still active and productive apple trees. The season runs late August through November. Prices do not include taxes or gratuities.
